While we can not attend, I send you warm encouragement to continue the research and political action that you took during these months. Your contribution, together with that of the many healthy and active forces that move in Italian society, it is useful to reconstruct, not the nostalgia of the past, but in this research for a new political culture and practice of progress and freedom, the reasons for the founding of political equality and freedom. The political culture of the socialist heritage is essential to this new beginning, this new fertilization of a land so arid that of what is left.
